Q: What information do we need to set up your payroll for the first time?
A: When you choose to allow us to process your payroll, we will send you an easy to follow form, or complete your details face to face or over the telephone. There is a new start form which can be sent to us whenever required, and provided we have your authorisation, as Approved Agents, we can submit tax details on your behalf.
Q: What will you need to complete for each payroll?
A: We have an easy to follow template which allows you to simply tell us the number of hours worked by each employee as well as any deductions or additional payments for that pay period. Depending on the size of your payroll, this information can even be given to us via telephone or SMS.
Q: When do we need your payroll information?
A: If you have weekly paid staff, we require your payroll information by 5pm, 3 days prior to their pay date. For fortnightly, four weekly and monthly paid staff, we require all details by 10am, 4 days prior to their pay date (so if paid on a Friday, we need their pay information by 10am on the Monday at the very latest). If you miss these deadlines frequently, then a surcharge of up to 10% may be applied.
Q: Is my data secure?
A: Yes. Our remote servers are backed up every day, and your payroll is backed up twice after every run. Our staff have all been security checked and hold full disclosure certificates. We do NOT sell or transfer your information to third parties, and do not transmit data outside the EU in line with our data protection policy.
