Well as the first full working week of 2013 draws to a close, it has been a productive one for us here at Xact Payroll.
We already told you about our new software, and about the independent testing of our entire IT infrastructure. We have told you about the new telephone systems which have been in place for almost a full year now.
In order to best service our clients (present and future) we have a new client interface for our billing and accounts.
We have been running this software since late 2012 and had migrated our customers over gradually to ensure no hiccups.
Today, we migrated the last remaining customer from our old system to the new. We have also now started using this system for all new client quotations.
One of the main benefits for us so far has been the time saved in preparing a new estimate. This process now takes around 8 minutes for data to be input and the automated e-mails and letters are automatically sent out. This means that we can spend more time actually talking to our potential client, rather than being desperate to get back behind a computer to start messing around with Microsoft Excel importing. We can also concentrate our time on doing the task in hand - computing your payroll - so that we can work more effectively.
Anyway... we are doing what we can to make things as easy as we can for our clients. That's just what we do.
