Well the last few days have been a tad on the busy side.
Have been looking at using the internet a little bit more effectively.
One client was so impressed with our website that they asked if we could do one for them. Looking at whether or not that is appropriate, as the one thing that I do NOT want to do is to go to the bother of writing one and it not being able to meet their exact requirements or specification.
My personal twitter feed now has (instead of my photo) the XactPayroll logo, and despite this I am still tweeting in the same manner as before. As highlighted to the right hand side, it's important to know - especially when the majority of our business is web based - just who it is that you are dealing with.
Started trying to use twitter for business purposes. Looking at effective networking and business feeds. Still have the personal ones on there also.
The whole purpose of our growth is to develop the very best service that we can for our clients. We COULD use the line "Big enough to cope, small enough to care"............ but I DETEST that line!!
The overall aim is to grow the business, but NOT in any way at the cost of existing relationships. Moving forward one small step at a time - getting it right, making it bigger, getting it right at that size and so on and so on.
But blogging at this time on a Friday night is not going to get much progress... there has to be a work/life balance, so will sign off for now and see what thought process takes place over the weekend.
Off to sing at a castle tomorrow, so the twitter feed MIGHT be interesting... but it might not.
Goodnight all.
Ross
