We received an enquiry from a potential customer asking about “this dedicated staff helpline that you offer” so thought we would provide a little bit of explanation on the blog…
When you register with us as a new client, we will provide you with a dedicated 0845 number that connects you to your own named payroll processor. This means that if you need to call to ask about your payroll, you will be put straight through to the person who does your payroll. This can be either their mobile number or landline, but with being an 0845 number, you will only ever pay a standard rate (max 2p/minute from a BT landline, and often included as part of your inclusive minutes, depending on your package from your telephone provider).
Having your own dedicated number for YOU to call, means that every single phone call you make to us is logged, and every phone call can be tracked with a unique identifying number – enabling us to check at our monthly audit that every enquiry has been dealt with.
We provide you with a dedicated telephone number for your staff to use. Again, an 0845 number which is available at times to suit your staff’s requirements. Like your dedicated line, it is an 0845 number which is tracked and allows full reporting – if you need to know that you are getting real value for money, we can provide you with a full report of all telephone calls received, and the resultant time spent on each call. We don’t charge seperately for this – it’s part of the price you pay. If your staff have any enquiries about their payroll, or their payslips, then get them to call us – that’s what you pay us for.
Your individual staff helpline number is printed on every payslip, and should always be the first port of call if there are ever any questions relating to their pay. (but please remember that we can only process payrolls based on the information that you provide us with.)
